The front roller of my 2 year old bifold closet door drops below the track as the door is closed.?

The door is in excellent condition. It rolls smoothly. As the door moves from the open to the closed position, the front, top roller drops about 1/4" below the track, making the door unstable and "disconnected". How can I adjust it so the roller stays in the track?

  1. if you go to the hinged side of the door and lift it a bit then move it AWAY from the wall about 1/8 inch that should solve the problem. if your door doesnt close properly after that then you need to make the adjustment at the top.that is simply loosening the phillips screw and moving that 1/8 inch TOWARD the wall. P.S.look at the bootom hinge before you do anything, youll see how simple of a system this is
  2. you might be able to squeeze the track together a little at the point of "disconnection" with a pair of pliers
